Walter's Tavern

Designed to stand out in the heart of Queenstown, Walter's Tavern needed a brand that celebrated the region's adventurous spirit while feeling welcoming, memorable and unmistakably local.
 
At the centre of the identity is a skiing kiwi bird, a playful take on New Zealand's national icon—supported by custom illustrations inspired by Queenstown's vibrant alpine lifestyle, from bungee jumping and skiing to après-drinks with friends.
 
A minimal logo, custom tartan pattern and warm heritage-inspired palette bring the brand together, creating a distinctive hospitality experience full of personality, charm and local character.
