Fitzy’s Waterford is a welcoming, no-fuss local pub built for hardworking locals, families and sports fans alike. Whether it’s tradies winding down after a long day, families looking for an easy meal, or mates catching the game, Fitzy’s is all about good food, cold drinks and a relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels at home.
The refreshed brand keeps sport at the centre, with the playful slogan “Have a Ball at Fitzy’s” setting the tone. Inspired by classic Australian sporting culture, the identity uses bold greens and golds, alongside stripe and grid patterns influenced by sporting jerseys, cricket fields and game-day graphics.
The venue wanted to retain its existing logo while giving it a subtle refresh. Small but considered updates were made, including changing the dot above the “i” from a rectangle to a circle and tightening the kerning for a cleaner, more contemporary feel.
The result is a bold, friendly and approachable identity that feels familiar to locals while giving Fitzy’s a stronger, more ownable brand system.
